We are all looking forward to a better new year and are anxious to see our attendees come back.
Wow, did it rain Wednesday and Thursday. Evaughn Cox, one of regular volunteer Meals on Wheels driver for years, drove Wednesday on route one and I got in the back seat and took the meals to the people.
She said I was her “back seat driver.” I had on Roger’s rain jacket and hunting boots. Now that would have been a picture for the paper. She and I did it in record-breaking time.
