Observation: First class petty theft, double standards

Interesting story in the Wall Street Journal that explains a lot about the different attitudes of classes in this country. It seems that people who are flying in the first class sections of airplanes are stealing everything that isn’t nailed down. Pillows, blankets, silverware, glasses and even taking stuff from empty seats. Even though these seats are extremely expensive and with only five percent of the seats contributing 30 percent of the international revenue of airlines, most of these seats are paid for out of company expense accounts. The airlines are not experiencing thefts out of regular passengers to the degree of first class. Several people interviewed by name said they thought it was their right to take the stuff.
