News from the... Senior Citizens Center

So nice to see new faces at Teague Senior Center. Joe Millender was a guest of Heavy West for lunch last Tuesday. We hope he will come back soon.

We all enjoyed a great Thanksgiving lunch last Wednesday. Hats off to Fairfi eld Center cooks. I don’t know who was stuffed more -- the Turkey or me.

Bingo is on every Thursday except holidays; we will still have it this Wednesday. We start after lunch around 12:15 p.m.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting some very supportive and hard working people from the Teague Library at their annual Book Sale. Wow, they did an awesome job. It took a lot of work, a real Labor of Love. One of the youngest Friends of the Library, Avery Satterwhite, daughter of Melissa Satterwhite, came over to the kitchen side where I was working and I rewarded her with a vanilla ice cream cup for the next couple of days.
