A new start every morning

Some days are long and tough, but I am so thankful that the Lord never leaves me and his compassions never fail. He wakes me each morning and I get to begin the day with a new start.

I am so thankful that I can take deep breaths and talk to my God whenever I want to throughout the day. I am thankful for His word and how the scriptures get me through each day.

Throughout the day, I love to listen to some contemporary Christian music to lift me up remind me that everything will be just fine. The things on this earth do not matter. What does matter is my rela-tionship with Jesus Christ.

Am I perfect? No, and I never will be because I am a human being. I will always fail throughout life no matter what. I will never be perfect. All I can do from day to day is strive to be more Christ-like.

Does it matter what is in our bank account, what type of vehicle we drive, how big our house is, what type of clothes we wear, or how much the scales say we weigh? No it doesn’t matter at all. When we die one day, we can’t take anything on this earth with us and God loves us no matter what we look like.
