Saturday night on a major television network, a special was presented which updated Darlie Routier’s  criminal trial. This article was written after Kathy Cruz’s book was published. Cruz was featured in the tv special. There many negative comments concerning the trial and Darlie’s lifestyle. I hope this story will enlighten those who didn’t see this show or know about this very important topic.

Texas was shocked on June 6, 1996, when it was broadcast that two boy age  five and six had been stabbed to death and their mother had been cut and abused. The mother, Darlie Routier, was arrested and convicted of the double murder and sentenced to death.
