Almost forgotten by history

Aaron Burr, a man almost forgotten by history, played a giant role at the founding of the nation.

Born into prominence he served as an officer in the Revolutionary War, practiced law in New York City and one of the founders of the Jeffersonian-Republican party.

He also ran as a candidate for president in the 1800 election and through a quirk of fate ended up tied in the electoral college with Jefferson.
