Teague Lion runners continue to make impression

The Teague Lion Cross Country team traveled to Elkhart Wednesday, Sept. 26 to compete in a non-conference meet and senior runner, Lizette Aguilera, took second place out of 137 runners at the meet with a time of 12:46. Junior high Lion runner, Maddie Sims, took first place for the junior high girls Wednesday. The winning high school runner, from Central Heights, brought in a time of 12:24.
“The kids continue to improve each meet,” Lion Cross Country Coach, Chris Nickleberry, said. “Next week it gets real with the district meet taking place Wednesday.”
