Sharon Renee Hogan

Funeral services for Sharon Renee Hogan will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9 at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Visitation will be held on Wednesday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Hogan passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 at the Fairfield Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born in Fairfield on Aug. 3, 1963. She grew up in Freestone County and graduated from Wortham High School with the class of 1981. Sharon lived in Ft. Worth for several years before returning to Freestone County where she remained. She enjoyed reading and growing flowers and plants. Ms. Hogan loved her dogs and her family, especially all children. Children would flock to her and she enjoyed them. Sharon was baptized at an early age at the Kirvin Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Wanda and Glenn Hall of Teague; one son, Kevin McLain and wife Devyn of San Antonio; one daughter, Ashley Haston and husband Clint of Ft. Worth; three grandchildren, Johnathan Mc- Lain, Brooklynn Welch, and Caiden Haston; the father of her children, Dennis McLain of Kirvin; one brother, David M. Hogan of Kirvin; three sisters, Leann McDaniel and husband Jamie of Kirvin, Lauren Rodriguez and husband David of Buffalo, and Morgan Smith and husband Jordan of San Antonio; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
