JOANNA WEST

Joanna West, 71, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 ,at her residence near Teague.

There are no services planned at this time.

Joanna was born on April 12, 1951 in Port Lavaca to parents Mildred and Ollie Lambright. She grew up in Port Lavaca and moved around before settling in Teague for the last 36 years. She married her husband, Lee West in October 1987. Joanna loved to cook, travel and loved people. She loved everyone around her and they loved her. She would do anything for anyone and never met a stranger. Joanna also loved lottery tickets. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spending time with them more than anything else in the world.

She is survived by her husband, Lee West; her three children, Jory Shane Jones and wife Kristin, Shawna Gail Coffman, and Sonny Gene Hicks; two stepsons, Herschel West and wife Jamie, and David West and wife Beth; one step-daughter, Crystal West; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Ottis Lambright and wife Kathleen; very special friend, Denise Taylor; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. West was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
