Teague FFA takes home second at contest
Teague FFA had a successful run at last week’s Sandyland District Career Development Event Sweepstakes, placing second overall and advancing three teams to the State contest this week.
In addition, four individuals are advancing to the Area VIII FFA Speaking Contest.
The Land Judging Team, consisting of Aspyn Perry, Rebeca Coker, Leah Goodwin, Kynlee Aderman and Lilly Preat, are advancing to state.
Also advancing are the Homeside Evaluation Team, which includes Aiden Kyle, Kendall Thompson, Maddie Tharp and Ian Fitzgerald.
Members of the Milk Quality Team, which also advances to state, are Ethan Yoder, Alexis McCain, Karli Paris, Ace Lee and Katelynn Simonds.
