Teague, Fairfield neck and neck reporting COVID cases
Freestone county schools report no new student COVID-19 cases in their latest report to the state, but do indicate four new staff cases, as Texas campuses approach a year of dealing with the effects of the novel coronavirus.
The state data aggregation of self-reported campus cases shows new confirmed infections for the week ending February 7, and totals for each campus since July 27, 2020.
Fairfield and Teague schools remain almost neck and neck in total numbers, with Teague reporting no new cases and a total of 72 cases since July, and Fairfield showing 4 new staff cases and a grand total of 73.
Wortham’s numbers include no new cases, and a total of 28 since recording bega.
