Teague’s 14-year wait is over
The 14-year wait is over. The City of Teague’s governing body awarded FH Management, out of Shreveport, La. the bid to install 4,020 linear feet of a new six-inch water line to replace the twoinch water line along South FM 80. This also includes six new fire hydrants. The contract price is $282,630.
City Administrator Theresa Prasil said, “This project has been promised 14 years ago. We did not originally have engineers out for bids based on specs written. The original contractor said his plans did not match the plans we had. That was when we brought in the engineers.”
