Freestone County has just 2 contested primary races

Monday marked the last day for a candidate to file for an office in the March 2018 primary election.
Freestone County has two contested races, both on the Republican side.
Renee Reynolds is challenging incumbent County Clerk Linda Jarvis for a spot on the Republican ballot in November 2018. Also, Republicans Jeannie Keeney and Tammy Harris are vying for treasurer. Current Treasurer Kay Taylor is retiring after 20 years in office.
