City and school board elections set for May 1

The City of Teague and Teague ISD will be holding their board elections on Saturday, May 1, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

For the City of Teague Board of Aldermen, Places II, IV, V are up for election. Rhonda Jones is the incumbent for Place II and she is being challenged by Douglas Allen. Seeking re-election for Place IV and running unopposed is Chirs Nickleberry. Incumbent Ryan Mathison is running unopposed for Place V.

Early voting for the City of Teague begins on weekdays from Monday, April 19, through, Tuesday, April 27 from 8am-5pm at the Teague City Hall. However, on Tuesday, April 20, and Thursday, April 22, early voting will take place from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Voting on election day will take place at the Teague City Hall, located at 105 S. 4th Ave, as well.
