Chronicle, Recorder staffs welcome OʼMalley as publisher

Freestone County Publishing and Limestone County Publishing are shifting things around a bit in the new year.
Tim O’Malley, who has been the managing editor of The Mexia News for the last year and a half, has been promoted to editor and publisher of the Teague Chronicle and the Fairfield Recorder. Richard Nelson, editor and publisher of the two Freestone County papers since July 2017, is taking a similar role with the Mexia News and Groesbeck Journal.
