Celebration parade planned for nursing homes

This year, Nursing Home Week is set from May 11 through May 15. Area residents in nursing homes and staff are invited to joined a parade celebration Monday, May 11, at 2 p.m. in Teague.

“We would like to invite families and the community to join our parade to celebrate our loved ones and staff,” said Organizer Andrea Lopez, who works for several area nursing residences. “Residents will be outside to watch, so no getting out of the car.”
