Area student selected as Ag Ambassador

Haylee Young of Teague is a freshman at Texas Tech University. She’s a 2019 Teague ISD graduate. From internships and work experiences to leadership and volunteer opportunities, Young pursues experiences that set her apart from her peers and prepare her to pursue a career in agriculture and food. Most recently, she was selected as an Agriculture Future of America Ambassador.

“I value AFA leader development programs because they help students bridge the gap between college and professional careers unlike any other organization I’ve been a part of,” she said. She loves attending college so far, highlighting that she gets to take subjects she is interested in while diversifying interests.
