Adopt-A-Senior sponsors arrive for soon-to-be grads of 2020

With many rising to the occasion during the COVID-19 crisis, the idea of “Adopt-A-Senior” began in New Mexico. The movement’s goal is to try to make up for the Class of 2020’s loss of the remainder of their last year in school.

“I had been added to another similar group in another part of the state. I just hate that COVID-19 stole their end-of-year activities and walking the stage. This is a huge milestone and they were robbed of it,” said organizer Yuly Hernandez.
