THS Class of 2021 includes 92

Rain forced the commencement exercises for the Teague High School Class of 2021 to be moved from Teague Lion stadium to the Teague High School auditorium at 8 p.m. Friday, May 28. A total of 92 students graduated.

Zikieria Jones gave the invocation and Kall Collins sang the National Anthem. Senior Class President Jazalynn Torres gave the welcome speech.

“As a class we have been plagued by plagues: like Ebola ruining our Six Flags trips in junior high, COVID-19 ruining our junior year and senior year – and a blizzard in Texas? We have survived a lot together,” Torres said. “So, as this chapter closes a new one will begin and hopefully without plagues and clowns. We had some bad times, but we also had some pretty great times. This class is truly unforgettable.”
