Priorities: When nothing else matters

On Saturday morning, February 6, I ended up taking my wife to the emergency room because she was sick. Little did I know, my wife was very sick and wasn’t doing well at all. They admitted her to ICU for what ended up being for seven days and six nights.

My priorities on that Saturday morning changed because nothing else in my life mattered. I was only concerned about my wife and her getting well. I dropped everything that I had scheduled to be there for my wife.

It was the longest week of my life being away from my beautiful wife, but I stayed in the parking lot most of the time to be as close to my wife as I could. I would do it again if needed because I wanted to be as near to my wife as I could.
