Teague FFA competes in District - On Tuesday November 11, 2008, Teague FFA competed in many different leadership development contests held at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens. The following is a list of the participants in the different contests. Radio Team: Isaias Villa, Clint Dunn, and George Lanier; Senior Quiz Team: Chandler Baggerly, Grant Holmes, Amanda Massey, and Caleb Chambers; Job interview: Corbin Smart; Senior Chapter Conducting: Trevor King, Grant Holmes, Chad Jackson, Brett Evans, Genea Cannon, J.W. Gonzales, and Clint Dunn; Senior Creed: Amber Allee; Jr. Skills: Brandy McNett, Denice Joplin; Jr. Chapter Conducting: Brittany Randant, Chandler Brown, Kali Crowhurst, Kelly Allison, Denice Joplin, Lydia Torres; Public Relations: Chandler Baggerly, Amanda Massey, Bobbie Bell, Jessica Long. Teams that placed at the contest were Jr. Skills who placed 3rd; Senior Quiz placed 4th, and Public Relations placed 2nd. The Public Relations team will advance to the area contest to be held on November 22 at Hillsboro High School.
