Oakwood resident reports visitor broke off TV Rabbit Ears so a Crack Pipe could be manufactured. Deputy Harrison to verbal troubles between man and woman, East 84. FEMS to Carter Street, daughter advised she just took a bunch of pills. Suicidal Talk by Lady on FM-489, husband to get her help. Teague VFD and THDEMS to FCR-380, Lady can't stand, breathing troubles. Niece calls, thinks uncle may have just broken her arm, Deputies Harrison and Elom to same. Dep. Robertson to/from Van Zandt County, prisoner transport. DPS Adams and Sgt. Davis jail DWI, ran Red Light, 45 and 84. FEMS to Bond Street, possible broken hip. Deputies search Rest Area for guns possibly used in Dallas County murder.
To Dew School on Tuesday, Veterans Day, for Gala Celebration. A large group of Veterans present, ranging from World War II through the present. The Dew Band gave a spirited rendition of the National Anthem, under the direction of Mrs. Wright, as well as George M. Cohan's "You're a Grand Old Flag". Keynote Speaker was Mr. Zeno King of Teague, who spoke of his experiences in France and Germany during 1944-45. Special Guests of Honor were all area Veterans, seated before the audience, worthy recipients of their Standing Ovation. I salute the staff and students of Dew for putting on this patriotic program in honor of our Veterans.

More Oil Field Tanks shot, FCR-510. Money missing at company on Hwy. 75. 911 bounces in from Groesbeck, accident in front of High School, Limestone County S.O. advised. Our Deputies to assist Limestone County Constable and Deputies on FCR-990, stolen machinery. THDEMS and Butler VFD to East FM-489, legs and arms swelling.

THDEMS to Fairfield ER, passenger believed to have taken far too many pills. Cat caught by City in cage on S. 11th, removed, next thing caught a skunk! Of course, he sprayed, and the front door was open. TPD Howard to woman pushing Mother off porch problem.

Diana Willis arrests Lady motorist at Dew, Limestone County Hot Checkin' Warrant. DPS Crais to accident, FCR-640. FPD Foree, Deputies Diana Willis, Robertson and Aultman to Husband/wife Troubles at local Motel. 911 Bounce zings in from Buffalo Diamond Shamrock, man purchasing fuel refuses to extinguish his cigarette....Well, we all know what the signs say at those pumps...No open flames, etc.....But the best way to quickly handle that potentially serious situation? Turn the electricity for the pumps off!
Early Morning trip to DePaul on Mental Commitment by Dep. Robertson. Deputy Wade Harrison jails man who turned self in on Court Ordered Jail Time. Kids ringing doorbells and dashing off, S. 10th, Teague. Kids place cones across FM-416 at County Line. TPD Howard and Sykora to Husband/Wife Troubles on S. 10th. Dew and Teague VFD's to vehicle and trailer on fire, Hwy. 179. FEMs to FM-833, possible heart attack. THDEMS to same type of call, FM-1367, suspect same, identical problem as preceding sentence.
911 Bounce from Leon County advises someone thrown from vehicle, FM-542, Leon Co. SO notified. Deputy Robertson to/from Harris County, prisoner transport times two. Dep. D.R. Taylor to report of two wheels stolen off vehicle, FCR-691. Man calls, wants to burn a tree, nope, there is no Burn Ban in effect.....But have you been outside today? If so, you may have noted that the wind is puffing at about 30 MPH.....Maybe this is not an optimum day to burn a tree....You know, maybe it would be safer on another day....He agreed.
DPS Crais to accident, US-84. DPS Crais, Streetman VFD and FEMS also to accident on bridge, Mile 210. Anderson County called, advised of train troubles at Trinity River, 4 Juveniles jumped off bridge, 3 found, unknown on 4th. Later contacted us back....The fourth was found, deceased. What probably began as a lark....such a sad ending. Tragedy strikes where and when least expected.

Lady traveling with two year old in car, notes 2 year old has ceased talking.....Found to have taken unknown number of pills out of a baggie, ingested same....Straight to ER, then by Doctor Chopper to Ft. Worth Hospital. THDEMS and Teague VFD to Cedar, possible broken arm and ribs. Deputy House books man in to start serving Jail Time from DWI sentence. DPS Alewine arrests US-84 speeder, Marijuana Possession. Deputies Willis and Shaw arrest men in Dew on parking lot, Possession of Marijuana and Controlled Substance.
Counterfeit Twenty turned in to Teague Officer at Dollar Store. DPS Crais arrests man on Dallas County Warrant. Man breaks Lady's window, FCR-960.
