- ROBERT “CRAIG” PITTMAN

Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Craig” Pittman, 38, of Marquez, Texas, were held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo, Texas.

Tuffy Loftin officiated the services and interment was at Buffalo Cemetery.

Mr. Pittman was born on July 14, 1969, in Houston, Texas, to Robert Eugene and Gayla Sue Avant Pittman. He passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008, in Marquez, Texas. He worked at Woody’s Bar-B-Que as a Pitmaster and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his parents Robert Eugene and Gayla Pittman of Buffalo and his sister Lori Gayle of Clear Lake, Texas.

Pallbearers for Mr. Pittman were Clint Pittman, Cody Pittman, Clint Avant, Gary Bell, Gary Zalucek, and Kenneth Millagan.

Memorial Funeral Home of Buffalo was in charge of the arrangements.



PAMELA S. MOLLENHAUER

Ms. Pamela S. Mollenhauer passed away on February 20, 2008, in Channelview, Texas. She was 44 years old.

Ms. Mollenhauer was born on September 9, 1963, in Texas City, Texas, to Edward E. Mollenhauer and Elois Laywell Mollenhauer. She grew up in the Houston area but lived about one year in the Teague/Fairfield area. She loved being around her children and her nieces and nephews. Ms. Mollenhauer loved rabbits and dogs and loved to plant flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt and will be greatly missed.

Ms. Mollenhauer is survived by her children Edward Eugene (Eddie) and Michael Paul, both of Louisiana; Little Robert of Livingston, Texas; Estrella of Houston; Israel (Bubba) and Diane both of Houston; George Able (BooBoo) and Rayenlda Lynn (LaLa) both of Channelview and six grandchildren. Also surviving her are her sisters Rose R. Lanier of Teague; Debbie Miller of Louisiana and Carolyn Snyder of Waco, her much loved nieces and nephews Stephanie, Tanya, Wallace, Jami, Jennifer, Colleen, Chris, Bubba and Christi.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her baby daughter Estrella I.



FRANK GARLEN ROBLOW

Frank Roblow passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at his residence among loving family and devoted friends. He was 55 years old.

Funeral services for Mr. Roblow were held on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Cleo High and Rev. Lewis People officiating. Interment was at the Salem Cemetery of Teague.

Mr. Roblow worked for the BNSF Railroad for more than 29 years. He and his wife were the owners of Roblow’s Café and the S&P Private Club in Teague.

His parents Dorsey Lee Roblow, Sr. and Ardella Pate Cooper and one child, Marcus Love, have preceded him in death.
Surviving Mr. Roblow is his loving wife Phyllis Marie Roblow of Teague; his children Douglas Ray Roblow and wife Canesha and Theresa Smith and husband Brian, all of Dallas; Yashipa (Pumpkin) Washington, Michigan; and Tyrus Busby of Dallas; his brothers and sisters Betty Johnson of Houston, James Cooper and wife Joyce of Plano, William Roblow and wife Trisha and Dorsey L. Roblow, Jr. and wife Addie all of Dallas, Lewis Roblow and wife Ella, Robert Roblow of Mexia, Martha Pate and husband Charles, Doris Burrell, Charles Cooper and Darrel Cooper all of Teague; his uncle Elon T. Pate of Notasulga, Alabama; his aunt Maggie Lee Howard of Houston; a nephew that he raised Marcus Busby; seven grandchildren; his special friends Tody Anderson, Leler Johnson and Daryl Cleveland; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

SADIE BELCHER

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Belcher, 92, were held on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Union Baptist Church in Mexia where Rev. Elizabeth Jones is pastor and Rev. Louis Brown officiated. Interment was at Wortham Cemetery.

Mrs. Belcher passed away on Friday, February 15, 2008, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco, surrounded by her beloved and devoted family.

She was born in Mexia, Texas and attended school in Tehuacana. She married Gather Sutton and they had one child. Later she married Lucas Belcher and they had nine children.

Mrs. Belcher joined Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor S. A. Windfield. At Union Baptist she was appointed President of the Women’s Mission, served as Choir President and “Mother of the Church.”

Mrs. Belcher was preceded in death by her parents Joe Willie Brewer and Susie Brown, two children Jeanelle Belcher and Sadie Miller and her sister Lucille Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters Mozell Campbells and husband Sam and Pauline Johnson, all of St. Louis, MO; Patricia Walker of Dallas, TX; and Luciana Henderson and husband James of Mexia; her sons Willie Clyde Belcher and wife Edna and Lucas Belcher, Jr. and wife Ella all of Mexia; Norman Belcher and Billy Fred Belcher both of Houston; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, two nieces, other relatives and friends.

MILDRED BERNICE HOLLAND

Graveside services were held for Mrs. Mildred Bernice Holland, 78, of Waco, Texas, on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Cade Cemetery in Fairfield, Texas.

Mrs. Holland was born on October 14, 1929, in Marysville, Kansas to Delmer and Bertha Nothnagel. She passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2008.

Mrs. Holland is survived by her husband Frank Holland, Jr. of Elm Mott; her children Gary Holland of Pflugerville, Janice Eastwood of Waco, Everett Holland of Kansas City, Kansas and David Holland and wife Sandra of Seagoville; her grandchildren A.J. Robinson, Tyler and Jacob Mayo; her brothers and sister Pat Beard and husband Gene of Kerrville, Jimmy Nothnagel of Joplin, Missouri, Carl Nothnagel of Elm Mott and sister-in-law Ann Nothnagel of Joplin, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Sonja Mercer and her brother Everett Nothnagel.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.



EVELYN KENNEDY

Graveside services for Mrs. Evelyn Kennedy were held on Sunday, February 24, 2008, at Younger Cemetery in Navarro County. Bro Steve Cowart officiated.

Mrs. Kennedy passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008, in Tyler. She was a dedicated homemaker and a faithful member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague for thirty-five years.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her son Jack Kennedy of Gun Barrel City; her daughter-in-law Jeanette of Duncanville; her grandson Greg Hartley Kennedy and wife Angela of Groesbeck; her granddaughters Kim McManus of Midlothian and Amy Bender of Duncanville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Dr. Billy Charles Kennedy, her parents W.H. and Gillie Osteen Griffin, her brothers Rufus Griffin, J.B. Griffin, Orville Griffin and Lloyd Griffin and her sister Lorene Peden.

RICHARD BENJAMIN POUNDS

Funeral services celebrating the life of Richard Benjamin Pounds, 34, were held on Monday, February 25, 2008, at Summer Grove Baptist Church. Officiating was Dr. Rod Masteller, Pastor of Summer Grove Baptist Church and Reverend David Rice, Pastor of Cross Roads Baptist Church of Marshall, Texas.

Interment was at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas on Tuesday, February 26, 2008.

Richard was born in Irving, Texas on November 14, 1973, to Larry and Martha Pounds. He went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, after an automobile accident.

He was a resident of Shreveport. LA and a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church where he was a choir member. While attending East Texas Baptist University, he was an active member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas.

He earned an Associate Degree from Panola College in Carthage, Texas where he was nominated for the National Dean’s List. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.

He was preceded in death by beloved grandparents, great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Larry and Martha Pounds and his twin brother Jonathan Pounds and uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers for Mr. Pounds were Greg Varner, Jeremy Angel, David Hawkins, Mark Alexander, Whit Steakley, Miles Hitchcock, Chris Thames, Abel Munoz. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Thomas, Nathan Tunnel, Chris Marchbanks, Russell Boyd and Will Boyd.

Memorials may be made to The Gideons International, Summer Grove Baptist Church, or Cross Roads Baptist Church or Habitat for Humanity.
