Groundbreaking Held For Green Energy Services

GREEN ENERGY OILFIELD SERVICES held a ground breaking ceremony on Wednesday, January 4th to build their 14,000 square foot corporate headquarters at the Fairfield Industrial Park, bringing 160 jobs to Freestone County. Green Energy Oilfield Services has broken ground on a 14,000 square foot corporate headquarters in the Fairfield Industrial Park securing 160 jobs in the greater Fairfield and Freestone County area.
Green Energy Oilfield Services is a new service company that will provide fluid management services for the oil and gas well drilling, production, and servicing industry. They have purchased 60 model 388 Peterbilt tractors from Rush Peterbilt, 50 vacuum trailers, 400 frac tanks from Dragon Products. Green Energy Oilfield Services will work with major Oil and Gas companies in Freestone County and the surrounding area. They will be located in the Fairfield Industrial Park 335 Industrial Park Drive, Fairfield, TX. The land was acquired with help of the Fairfield Industrial Development Corporation. The ten acres of land will be home to their 14,000 square foot state of the art facility, which will house their corporate offices, maintenance bays and will be accompanied by an asset storage yard. Across the street an additional 2.14 acres was acquired to house their Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) fueling station, the first of its kind within several hundred miles. Green Energy Oilfield Services commercial fleet will be fueled by this alternative energy source. The Peterbilt trucks have been up-fitted to run on this clean alternative fuel that is not just better for the environment, but will start the trend to lessen the nation's dependency on foreign oil.
Green Energy Oilfield Services was founded by Roger Nevill of Teague. Roger, the President and Chief Operating Officer, is one of six brothers who grew up in Corsicana. He started working in the oilfield when he was 18 as a roughneck on drilling rigs operating primarily in East Texas. From there he has worked in and around all aspects of oilfield work. Working in the oilfield for over twenty years, his career has placed him in pivotal roles with some of the most well-known service companies in the industry. Roger and his wife Corena have four children, Allison, T.J., Cody, and Melanie. They have been part of the Teague community for twelve years.
Kent Kendall is the Chief Financial Officer for Green Energy Oilfield Services. Kent, formerly of The Mexia State Bank, has been in the banking business for 13 years providing financial services and advice for the community. Kent and his daughter Caroline live in Mexia where he grew up. Kent studied Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M. Kent has dedicated his career to serving the members and businesses of the community.
The rest of the management team for Green Energy Oilfield Services represents over a century of experience in oilfield services varying from fluid management, trucking, well fracturing, safety, and general services provided to the oil and gas industry.
