Deputy, Trooper and Dew VFD responded to a report of an 18-wheeler that had been rear-ended by another vehicle on IH-45 near the 191 mile marker. The driver advised that he was hauling a flammable substance and was concerned that the crash may have caused a leak. The trailer was found to be okay.

Wortham P.D. was dispatched to E. Wood on a report that someone was shooting a gun.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on Hwy 84 E.

Wortham VFD assisted Mexia EMS on E. Main with a 6-day old infant.

Deputies, Fairfield VFD and Fairfield Medic 6 responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hwy 84 and the IH-45 Service Road.

Deputy assisted Teague P.D. on Carroll Street on a report of underage drinking in the area.

Deputy and Trooper were dispatched to a welfare check of an 18-wheeler driver on Fm 2570.

Fairfield P.D. booked one into jail for driving while license suspended with a previous conviction.

Teague P.D. booked one into jail for possession of a controlled substance.

Deputy assisted Fairfield P.D. and Fairfield Medic 8 with a 70 year old female that was having a psychotic episode.

Deputy and Fairfield Medic 6 responded to the Sheriff?s Office to check on a male subject that had walked into the lobby to advise the dispatcher that he had ingested a pill that someone had sold him. The subject stated that he had also drunk a pint of whiskey and 3 beers. The subject was transported to the E.R.

Wortham P.D. was dispatched to S. Ross on a burglary report.

TX DOT was notified of a large water leak on Hwy 84 E. that was being repaired at the Turlington Water Supply.

Butler VFD responded to a report of smoke from a previous fire on Cr 271.

Trooper responded to a report of a mobile home that was partially blocking the roadway on Hwy 84 W. near FM 2777.

Fairfield VFD was sent to N. Bateman on a report of a gas leak.

Fairfield Medic 8 transported a cancer patient to the E.R. that was having difficulty breathing.

Deputy was sent to CR 523 to speak with a complainant in reference to several dogs that had attacked the complainant?s calf.

Fairfield VFD, Teague VFD and Kirvin VFD responded to a one-acre grass fire report on CR 941.

Fairfield Medic 6 was dispatched to Spur 114 on a report of a male that had came up to the store advising that he was feeling really bad.

Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 75 S. on a report of a possible prowler. The caller reported that someone had knocked on the front door and then the back door. The ?prowler? was found to be a local political candidate that was going to door to door and leaving political door hangers when no one answered the door.

Fairfield Medic 8 was dispatched to a Life One Medical alert alarm on CR 161. The resident advised that they had pushed the button by accident.

Deputy assisted Wortham P.D. with a one-vehicle roll over on IH-45 near the 212 mile marker.

Fairfield Medic 7 transported an 85 year old female to the E.R. that had suffered injuries to her head after a fall.

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute on CR 340. The subjects were able to solve their differences.
