Kay Lott, 62, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Barnes officiating. Interment followed at Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Kay was born March 28, 1952 in Winters, TX to parents Jack and Edna Mae White Campbell. She had lived in Fairfield for 44 years having moved from Pampa, Texas.

As a young girl she grew up in the Salvation Army Church. She married Sid Lott, Sr. on November 19, 1971 in Freestone Co. Kay worked for 10 years at the Boyd Unit of the T.D.C.J. and then for Brookshire Bros. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Pallbearers were Brad Franklin, Chad Franklin, John Kent, Jake Day, Justin Farmer and Barry Vaughn.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Sid Lott, Sr.; two sons, Sid Lott, Jr. and wife Nikki of Fairfield; Allen Lott and wife Soncharae of Tatum; four grandchildren, Meagan Lott, Brittany Shamblin, Bralee Lott and Cayden Rojas; a brother, Robert Campbell of Pampa; a sister, Jo Ann Wheeler of Fairfield.

Graveside services for Mr. Don Proffit, 85, were held on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at 2:00p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.

Mr. Proffit passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at his residence in Teague. He was born in Santa Anna, Texas on October 26, 1928. He grew up in the valley of South Texas and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the age of seventeen. After his time in the service, he attended LeTourneau College in Longview and later moved to Teague in 1954 where he owned and operated Teague Welding Co. for almost fifty years. His work often took him away from home and he traveled to many places around the country inspecting pipelines. His greatest enjoyment came from designing and building things using his welding skills.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Link and husband Dean of Troup, and Nancy Young of Flint; four grandchildren, William Young, Julie Jackson, George Watford and Mylena Watford; two great-grandchildren, Robert Applegate and Gaylon Applegate; and his dearest friend for many years, Ann Proffit of Teague.

Mr. Proffit was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Jackson; his parents, John Henry and Anna Proffit; four sisters; and the mother of his children, Elsie Proffit.

Weldaleen Satterwhite,of Waco, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Providence Hospice Place, after a brief battle with cancer. Honoring her wishes there will be no formal services.

Weldaleen was born on January 28, 1945 in Mexia, Texas, to Weldon and Elsie Phillips Hamill. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1967 and a Masters in Education in 1971 from Baylor University. She was a loyal and dedicated Baylor Alumni and fan. ?Sic?em Bears!? She had a 47-year career with Waco ISD and teaching was her passion. Her motto was ?Kids Motivated Academically will succeed in life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David Satterwhite; her sister Emma Lee Neighbors; and her brother Phillip Hamill.

She is survived by her daughter, Candyce Kay Boyer and husband Sean Lee, of Mart; her granddaughter, Grace Kaylee, her sister Kay Hamill of Dallas; and too many friends and colleagues to name.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caring nurses, Holly, Bronda, Floyce, Leah, Shantese, Susan, and Margie.

Jack Elliott Wilson, 67, of McGregor passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. a visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23rd at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Jack was born in Teague to Ruel and Clytee Wilson on August 1, 1946. He attended and graduated from Teague High School with the Class of 1964 and then attended Sam Houston State University. He began to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he worked for over 20 years. Jack then became a long haul owner operator truck driver. Jack ?Lonestar Cowboy? and his 1995 Kenworth W900, ?Nana?s Nightmare,? traveled across all 48 states, covering over 2 million miles.

During this time he met the love of his life, Kathy ?Tomcat?s Kitten? and the couple married on March 21, 1981. Jack loved his children and grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time outdoors. The grandchildren always asked for grandpa?s hamburgers anytime Jack was home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law, Tom and Cecille Jones; his brother James Wilson and his uncle Jack who was his namesake.

Jack is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy; his daughters Amy Hearn and husband Brandon, Joycelyn Owen and husband Danny, and Deedee Wilson Elliott; his son Paul Elliott Wilson and wife Missey; his grandchildren Elizabeth Reinke and husband Wesley, Tommy Jack Jones, Addison Hearn, Austin Hanna, Ashley Smith, Justin Evans, Jacey Evans, and Grace Elliott; special great granddaughter Kinzleigh Faith Reinke; and his siblings Bill Moseley, Dixie Bennett, Jan Lovett and husband Dave,; his sister-in-law Ola Carter; his brother-in-law Tommy Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
