Angel Tree Hosted By Stephanie Burns Insurance

This Christmas

NICK GIBSON AND MARQUITTA DYER were crowned Teague High School Band Beau and Sweetheart last Friday night.  They were honored along with the other five senior band members:  Alexa Anzelmo, Vanessa Cuevas, Mayela Diaz, Jonathan Roberts, and Lana Wells during the varsity game against Crockett.  The Mighty Teague Lion Band’s next performance will be on the road  Friday night, November 8, in Franklin when the varsity football team plays Franklin in their last scheduled district game.

This year Stephanie Burns Insurance Agency is hosting a Teague Christmas Angel Tree to help children from the ages of 0 to 12 years of age have a gift under the tree. Everyone must be from Teague and complete an application for eligibility. All applicants must bring a current photo ID, a Social Security card for each person in the household, proof of address (example: a utility bill), a birth certificate for all children needing assistance, proof of income, and verification of any government assistance. You cannot be receiving assistance from any other program for Christmas to be placed on the Angel Tree.

Applications can currently be picked up at Stephanie Burns Insurance, 942 W. Highway 84 in Teague, and must be turned in by November 15, 2013.

Anyone wishing to adopt an angel or donate unwrapped gifts, can bring them to the same address. Monetary donations to purchase gifts for angels that are not chosen are welcome. Angels can be adopted starting November 18th.

The goal is to provide the children with at least one new outfit and one toy this year. For more questions you may call Stephanie Burns at 254-739-2591 or 903-388-0882.
