The 26th Annual Teague Parkfest will get underway on Saturday, October 19th in the Teague City Park on North 8th Avenue. In conjunction with Parkfest, the Teague Police Department is holding their 2nd Annual 5K/1K Run and Fun Walk to help in the War on Drugs program the morning of October 19th.

Johnny Rockit has a spectacular show involving the entire audience at every performance as he pays tribute to the legacy of Elvis Presley. He rocks the house with songs like Burning Love, Jailhouse Rock and You Ain?t Nothing but a Hound Dog. The Teddy Bear Medley is great and involves the children in the audience. Then he warms your heart with the songs Are You Lonesome Tonight and Love Me Tender. He performs so many of Elvis? hits, you are bound to hear your favorite. Admission is only $10 person.

Teague Parkfest is one of the major attractions of the entire year in Teague. The event features many activities such as games, contests, events for children. Each year hundreds of area residents and others flood into the park to enjoy the day.

Many booths dot the park area with items for sale and fun, along with lots of great food and soft drinks. The park will be filled with the laughter and fellowship of people having a great time.
