TPD Investigating Two Car Burglaries

The Teague Police Department is looking for two black males responsible for two car burglaries in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 15th.

According to Chief of Police Dennis Cox, a resident on South Sixth Street heard dogs barking at approximately 1:30 a.m. and saw two black males take off running and drop a purse as he ventured outside. The purse contained the owner?s identification and a GPS, which was not owned by the woman who had her purse stolen from her parked vehicle in the area of Tenth and Cedar Streets.

Chief Cox reports both the purse and GPS were returned to their rightful owners and asks if anyone knows the identity of these two men to contact the Police Department at 739-2553.
