Tow Daddy?s from Mexia has bought Marc Raymond Towing in Teague. ?We had known each other from towing and when Marc said he might be ready to sell and maybe move on to something else, I thought that this would be a perfect expansion for me,? said David Welch owner of Tow Daddy?s.

David Welch is an amiable and easy to talk to person who really knows where he wants to go with his businesses. ?We don?t want to just have a business here, we want to be an active part of the community,? said David. ?Tow Daddy?s is a family owned and operated business and when we come into a city we want to support the city and the people who live there.?

David was raised in Mexia and graduated from Mexia High School in 1983. For twenty years he has owned a Transport Company to transport fuel. They will make the Teague business similar to Mexia and it will be run the same way. Don?t mess with success seems to be his motto. However, Teague will be run separate from Mexia. Tow Daddy?s will hire from Teague and all the parts, fuel, food and such will be purchased in Teague. David commented, ?I can already see some competitions between the two business coming and that will be good for both.?
