Aubrey Hatfield, 84, of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his residence between Buffalo and Centerville. No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Hatfield was born November 14, 1928 in Hope, Arkansas; to parents William Edward and Callie Gilbert Hatfield. In his early years he was known to friends and family by the nickname of (Bo) and later in life as (Son). He had been a resident of Leon County for 37 years having moved from Houston. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1951 he married Lucille Young and she preceded him in death on April 30, 2012. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy K. Hatfield and two foster sons, Lindell Davis and Baxter Denton. Mr. Hatfield was known for his love of horseback riding and being a cowboy.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Linda Baker of Strawberry, AR; two sisters, Marie Williams of Waxahachie, TX; Lenore Brosius of Texarkana, AR; a grandson, Brad Davis of Ash Flat, AR; a great-grandson, Tucker Davis of Ash Flat, AR; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mr. William Lee Teer, 69, were held on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Josh Gafford officiated. Interment followed the services at Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin with an Honor Guard provided by the U.S. Marine Corps and an escort by Patriot Guard. Serving as pallbearers were Robert Stahl, Roger Brooke, James Gunter, Randy Turner, David Crundwell, and Bill Rutherford. Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Schrader, Heavy West, and Bill Roane.

Mr. Teer passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at his residence in Teague with his family at his side. He was born on August 17, 1943 in Teague, attended Teague High School, and entered into the U.S. Marine Corps in 1965. He served two years in the Viet Nam War and later returned to Teague and married Joyce Bishop of Riesel on July 29, 1967. Mr. Teer was employed for several years at Leon?s Garage and eventually opened and operated his own small engine and auto repair shop in Teague for many years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #5872 in Fairfield and was an avid bingo player.

He is survived by his wife of almost forty-six years, Joyce Teer of Teague; two sons, William Russell Teer and wife Chantal of Teague, and Robert Lee Teer and wife Jonna of Temple; one daughter, Lisa Lynn Campbell and husband Alan of South Dakota; two sisters, Lillie Marie Roane and husband Bill of Teague, and Nancy Bennett and husband Kevin of Hillsboro; four grandsons, Jeremy Snow, Ryan Snow, Justin Teer, and Russell Teer, three granddaughters, December Snow, Alyssa Teer, and Rachel Teer; two great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Adyson Dixon; five step-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Teer was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Ruby Lee Teer.
