Dance Organized For Lizzie Grissam
LIZZIE GRISSAM ARRIVED at a dance, held especially for her, on the arm of Marine Corporal Zachary Daggs and in a long white limousine. The dance was held at the Teague Community Center on Saturday, March 16th because Lizzie was not allowed to attend the Winter Dance held at Teague High School.
With many thanks to Kim Johnson, founder of Middle of the Road Ministries, Teague senior Lizzie Grissam danced the night away at a beautiful ball held just for her.
When Kim Johnson heard that Miss Grissam was told that she couldn?t attend the Winter Dance at Teague High School because she was not considered a student due to completing all her studies in October, he went into action.
Miss Grissam had already purchased her dress for the dance before she found out that she could not attend. After hearing of her predicament, Johnson jumped into action so Grissam could attend a dance and wear her new dress to it. Middle of the Road Ministries organized the dance, held last Saturday, March 16th, in the Teague Community Center.
Lizzie Grissam arrived in style in a limousine with a handsome Marine, Corporal Zachary Daggs, as her escort.
Kim Johnson said, ?God told me to do this for Lizzie and when God tells you to do something, you just do it.? Thanks to Mr. Johnson, and many other caring people, Lizzie attended a wonderful Winter Dance.
