Lady Lions Softball Season Is Underway

The Teague Lady Lion softball season is underway. The Lady Lions have completed their preseason with tournaments in Franklin, Lufkin, and Tyler.
The Lady Lions came away with a victory against Slocum Monday night with a stellar pitching performance by freshmen Tiffany Scruggs. Katlyn Kaminski got things going offensively with a triple. Jayme Smith made a diving catch in centerfield to end the game. The Lady Lions opened District at home Monday March 5, against Buffalo.
