Eighth Grade Boys B-Ball Lost To The Bisons, 30-33

The 8th grade boys Lion Basketball team played against Buffalo on Thursday, January 10th at Buffalo. The young Lions had a difficult night and lost to the Bisons 30 to 33.
In the first quarter the Teague team started off with a bang and scored 13 to Buffalo?s 5 points. The Bisons got stronger in the second quarter and the teams went into halftime with the Lions leading 18-16.
The third quarter ended with a Lion lead at 26 to 24 but in the fourth quarter Buffalo edged up and overtook the Teague boys ending the game 30-33.
?We did not play well. We missed free throws and too many baskets. The effort was good. I was proud of how hard the played,? said Coach Derek Tyler.
