Schooley owns and operates Tri-County PC

For nearly 20 years...

It was 1994. James Schooley was going to nursing school and was starving to death. He was very happy when he was offered a job selling computers. ?I thought that with this job I could buy twice as many Raman Noodles,? said James as a grin ran across his face. With barely any experience he found out that he was naturally good with computers. His boss sent him to several boot camps and the rest is history. James has been fixing computers and helping people to understand their computers ever since.

James has owned and operated Tri-County PC for almost 20 years now and does a terrific job because he not only fixes the problem but he also teaches his customers as well. ?We try to demystify computer technology,? said Schooley. ?My job is to help people get on with that they need to do.? There are many types of computer techs. James is an Applications Specialist, works on installation and configuration for operating systems/office and professional suits systems and training. He is all about teaching people to understand and get along with their systems.

James was born in West Monroe, Louisiana in 1966. ?It was just down the street from the folks of the TV show Duck Dynasty,? James quipped. His father was in construction and they traveled all over the country. His folks took him to Valdez, Alaska in 1973 and he loved it there. However his dad had to follow the work and James went back and graduated from West Monroe High School. He attended LA Tech ? MLU studying Marketing and Communications.
