THS Drama Department to present "Dracula"

The Teague High School Drama Department is pleased to announce their fall production of ?DRACULA?. On Thursday, November 8th & Saturday, November 10th everyone is invited to come out and watch the students perform this dark and at moments scary play. It is change of pace for the drama department but it is a way these student actors can reach deep inside and develop a character they are not necessarily comfortable with. These productions help in preparing students for the UIL One Act Play in the spring. Lead by drama teacher Mary Sue Smith this is certain to be a production you will never forget. Since the beginning of school, many hours have been spent on set design, lighting, working on acting skills and lines. Hard work is something Mrs. Smith and every student in the drama department knows is required to put on a quality show and that is exactly what you will see when you attend. Many of the actors were on stage in May when their production of ?The Elephant Man?, which they advanced from UIL District, to Area and then on to Region where they were chosen to be Alternate to State.

Please be aware this is not a show that is suitable for young children or faint at heart. It does have scary moments and at times the theater is completely dark.

Admission is $5.00 at the door of the High School Auditorium and performances will start at 7:30 each night. All proceeds go directly to the drama program to help raise money for future productions.
