Arrest for Narcotics made

Freestone County Sheriff?s Office Deputies were involved in a car chase and narcotics arrest on Monday evening, September 10th in Teague.

Officers reportedly observed one individual selling suspected narcotics to another individual on the parking lot of Dap?s. Officers pulled into the location in order to investigate and the subject driving, later identified as Ricky Durham, popped his vehicle in gear and began fleeing by exiting the parking lot, turning right onto US-84, then right on 8th, according to Freestone County Sheriff Ralph Billings, who added that Durham drove through a yard just north of the City Park, still closely followed by Deputies and emerged into the City Park near the Pavillion. Another Deputy closed this escape route to him and Durham came to a stop and was immediately cuffed and arrested.
